Berliner HR Group expands to Austria
The Berliners HR group will operate the former Ramada Innsbruck Tivoli as Tivoli Hotel Innsbruck in the future. The opening marks the hotel operator’s entry into the Austrian market.
“Innsbruck is the location for our debut in Austria, as it ideally combines leisure and surroundings,” says Markus Lewe from the HR Group. “This is an important milestone for our expansion-driven company and we look forward to achieving it with such a promising project”.
The hotel has a total of 159 rooms in different categories. The morning started in
Hotel in the breakfast restaurant on the 11th floor. The lobby bar is available in the evening. In the seminar area, guests meet with a view over the city at events for up to 80 people. There is also a wellness area.
“Despite the current situation, we want to send a strong signal that we believe in the location and are ready to receive guests,” continues Markus Lewe.
General Manager Matthias Classen is in charge of the hotel. The hotelier had already been managing director of the acquired hotel for the past two years. He and his team used the last days before the opening to bring the hotel, which had been closed since the summer, out of its slumber again.
In the next 12 to 24 months, the hotel will be transformed into an upscale during ongoing operations in order to be positioned for the future success of the hotel. Here all rooms and bathrooms as well as corridors, public areas such as lobby, restaurant, bar and the wellness and conference areas are upgraded.
