A group of taggers arrested by the police in Toulouse
This Tuesday, December 14, the Toulouse police arrested no less than nine people, suspected of damaging the trains, buildings and signs of Toulouse for two years by adorning them with graffiti. It is seven boys and two girls, all ages in their twenties. Six of them will be summoned before a judge.

The investigation before launched at the end of September by the arrest in flagrante delicto of two of them on the Matabiau station website, tagging a train. The two young people had been released during the investigation. The police officers thus managed to identify the same group which had been operating since January 2020 in Toulouse, drawing on the trains, the signs, the buildings of the SNCF, the City of Toulouse, the Dirso or even Tisséo. Total damage, around 40,000 euros.
The arrests on Tuesday as well as the searches at the homes of these people made it possible to get their hands on equipment spray paint type and find paintings that allow to confuse the signatures found outside.
Of the nine young people questioned, six were taken into custody, and released this Wednesday morning. They will be summoned to court during a hearing next march.
