On the night of Monday 13 to Tuesday 14 December, a fire broke out in a storage warehouse for lithium batteries located in Colomiers, near Toulouse.

About a hundred firefighters on site

The firefighters were called to fire at 12:15 am to intervene on this fire which started in a located alley of Barousse.

The Haute-Garonne firefighters set up a large device to contain the fire: nearly a hundred firefighters intervened at the height of the fire, supported by significant technical means.

No injuries

This Tuesday morning, the 2000 m2 building, completely destroyed, is still closely watched. The firefighters’ intervention is not over.

About ten homes had to be confined during the intervention. No injuries are to be deplored.
