Drug deals by cell phone – Salzburg police catch cannabis sellers
Salzburg police officers caught and arrested a 22-year-old in the Elisabeth-Vorstadt in a drug deal in the act.
The handcuffs clicked on the man last Friday. After clues from the population and extensive police inspection officers had caught the dealer who wanted to sell cannabis to a customer.
According to the police, the accused confessed to having sold cannabis to various buyers several times and always in the same place in the Elisabethvorstadt and earned up to 1,500 euros in the process.
He was available to his customers on a messenger app, where the sales were made. During a house search, in addition to around 30 grams of cannabis herb, addictive substance utensils, several cell phones and a total of 500 euros in cash were seized. The accused is currently in custody.
