the Santa Claus will arrive with its hood loaded with gifts and your cupboards are already overflowing? Maybe now is the time to do some sorting: do you really need to keep this 24 piece Little Brown Bear puzzle, while your youngest is passing the bin? And yes it’s cute, but this collection of baby toys who collects the dust shouldn’t they be happy, now that the youngest of the family is wearing a 43?
One-off collections
To reconcile household by emptiness and good deed, think of the donation! Numerous collections are organized in Toulouse as Christmas approaches.
Thus, until December 15, the town hall organizes a solidarity collection and collects toys for children from birth to twelve years old. Several places to deposit the games:
- Northern Citizenship House, 4 pig market square
- Red brick, 9 rue Maria Monbiola
- The social space of the Grand Ramier, 10 avenue du Grand Ramier
The Amouroux Roseraie social prevention association is also organizing a collection of toys, until December 17. Toys, childcare equipment, multimedia… are to be dropped off at 70 chemin Michoun Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 9 am to 11 am and from 4 pm to 7 pm.
In toy stores
As every year, the stores the Grande Récré organizer La Hotte de d’amitié. Everyone can come to one of the brand’s boutiques to drop off their old toys, which will then be redistributed to local associations.
In Toulouse, La Grande Récré is located on rue Saint-Rome, in the city center; Gabardie path; or in Labège on the Place du Commerce; or in Fenouillet, rue des Usines.
Emmaus and the others
Also think about traditional charities that can recover toys in good condition. If the Labarthe-sur-Lèze site is currently closed, it is still possible to make donations to Emmaüs at Saint-Jory and Escalquens, every morning, from Tuesday to Saturday.
Secours Populaire also branches in several communes of Haute-Garonne to collect toys in good condition. In Toulouse, the Gleaning collects all donations, including toys and childcare accessories in very good condition, in the city’s five recycling centers, as well as at Cugnaux, Ramonville, Saint-Alban and Plaisance-du-Touch.
