Huawei launches the new MatePad 11 tablet in Portugal for 549.99 euros – Multimedia

Sugar Mizzy December 13, 2021

Huawei launched today in the Portuguese market its new tablet, the MatePad 11, described as the first to combine Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor with the Chinese manufacturer’s operating system, HarmonyOS 2. The tablet is priced at 549.99 euros and until January 2, 2022, whoever purchases it has access to three months of subscription to the Sport TV premium HD service.

The tablet has a new layout, using a more efficient user experience, says the brand. Offers a new Bottom Dock feature, located at the bottom edge of the screen, which allows you to project up to eight of the most used applications on the left side, and up to three recently accessed on the right side.

The services widget, on the other hand, allows access to the most relevant information directly from the main screen, without the need to open an application, such as viewing the weather status and forecast or activating as Notepad pop-up notifications to save as pending tasks . And in the table’s control panel, it is possible to see all the equipment that they choose to be paired nearby and turn it into a “super device”, simply by dragging the respective icon that you want to add to the ecosystem.

MatePad 11 allows you to connect to a MateBook to enjoy the multi-screen system, whether to mirror the view, extend or use in a collaborative format. A feature that can be used by designers who use a laptop and a tablet for digital drawing, which in this case can be replaced by the MatePad 11 and its M-Pencil digital pen. In “Collaborate” mode, the brand says that the barrier between the HarmonyOS operating system on the equipment and the Windows on the MateBook is removed, allowing you to drag files from one side to the other, whether text, images or files.

Without its interior, the tablet features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and 6 GB of RAM. The device has a screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, bringing out a higher quality image, as well as more responsive touch control and faster response to touch. Its sound system has four channels and the same number for the microphones, promising a cinematic quality experience in the transmission of multimedia contents.
