2G, masks are compulsory at meetings
Coronavirus
After the end of the lockdown, new rules for gatherings have been in effect since Sunday, emphasizes the State of Salzburg: At celebrations and cultural events, 2G – i.e. vaccination or recovery – is just as mandatory as an FFP2 mask.
According to the regulation of the State of Salzburg, which came into force on Sunday and valid until December 21, a maximum of four people from different households with a maximum of six children may meet in private – even without 2G proof. At wedding, birthday or Christmas parties, on the other hand, 2G is mandatory. There can be up to 25 participants inside and up to 300 participants outside. If there are assigned seats, there can be up to 2,000 participants inside and up to 4,000 outside.
In indoor areas, however, an FFP2 mask is generally required, and registration is also required for events, emphasizes the State of Salzburg. Meetings are only allowed between 5:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. For events with more than 50 participants, the person responsible has to appoint a Covid-19 officer, work out a Covid-19 prevention concept and notify the district administration or the magistrate of this one week in advance. A permit for the event is required for 251 or more participants.
Ordinance does not allow unvaccinated people to celebrate
