Roberson and Strasbourg beat Monaco

John Roberson scored 23 points as SIG Strasbourg beat AS Monaco 99-90 on Sunday.
Roberson, 33, had just won a key contribution of 28 points behind 6/8 trebles in the away win over Kalev / Cramo on Tuesday. His team went from reserving a spot for the Basketball Champions League preliminary round to a jump to 7-3 and a drop from La Roca to 8-3 in the Betclic Elite LNB regular season standings. Pro A.
The former Texas Tech star scored 4/11 by three points and had seven assists in the 11th round game. Matt Mitchell added 16 points, Leopold Cavaliere got 14 points and Jaromir Bohacik finished with 13 points.
Lassi Tuovi’s side led throughout the second half with the greatest distance scored at 17 points.
Montenegrin Zvezdan Mitrovic missed Dwayne Bacon, Leo Westermann, Will Thomas, Jerry Boutsiele, Rob Gray and Mike James. Among the available players, Danilo Andjusic and Paris Lee shared the top of the squad with 16 points.
Coming up for the losing team, the next week’s Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Double Match. Monaco, currently tied with Fenerbahce Beko, ALBA Berlin and Bitci Baskonia in 13th place at 5-9, will face Zalgiris Kaunas on the road and Zenit St. Petersburg at home on Wednesday and Friday, respectively.
In the French League standings, the team coached by Mitrovic is now two games behind the leader, the Metropolitans 92 with a 10-1 record. Further down, Elan Bearnais Pau-Lacq-Orthez and Le Mans are together at 7-4, while LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne currently occupies sixth place out of a total of 7-5 WL.
