Hundreds of patients end up in a black bag, analysts say. However, Slovakia has reached the peak of the pandemic
The peak of the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic was in November. They introduced the Data without Pathos project in the last few posts on the social network. At the same time, they pointed to several parameters on the basis of which the epidemic situation improved.
“All districts of Slovakia have a seven-day PCR Incidence per 100,000 inhabitants belonging to it, as for each one district delta maximum,” mathematicians say. In addition to the incidence, they monitored parameters such as ambulance journeys, hospital admissions, hospital status and deaths. “All these parameters are declining,” analysts added.
According to their calculations, the peak of the seven-day incidence in PCR testing was November 30. We had the worst situation in hospitals as well as in intensive care units and artificial lung ventilation on December 5, and the peak of the seven-day average number of victims was on December 7. “We would be on our way to defeat the pandemic before Christmas and especially doctors and hospital staff will bring therapy in the form of severe cases and patients in general,” explained mathematics.
However, they also reminded that although all the trend parameters of the pandemic have been our “friends” for several days and in decline, but they are still four-digit and three-digit numbers and we need 54 positive daily victims and not victims.
That’s why they talk to seniors about vaccinations. “I’m sure the optimists, according to today’s 3,250 patients in the hospital, will go into the black bag for at least 500. And by the time we reach an acceptable 1,500 patients, the crew will be changed three more times on those occupied beds today, and it probably won’t be on the Three Kings, “ wrote on the social network Data without Pathos.
