At a school in Meyrin / GE, a class and its adult caregivers have been quarantined. The reason is a “very likely” infection with the Omikron variant of the corona virus, according to the authorities. According to the cantonal health department, the infection is linked to an imported case. The quarantine was ordered to stop the spread of the variant in the canton, said a spokesman for the department of the Keystone-SDA news agency. All quarantined people do a PCR test, as well as their parents and siblings. (swisstxt)
