In the last seven days, an average of 4,626 corona infections have been registered per day. The corresponding average seven days ago was 3,510, so the trend is still rising.

On Sunday, 331 corona patients were hospitalized. Never before has Norway had more hospitalized coronary patients than now. Of the 331, 106 are in the intensive care unit and 58 receive respiratory treatment, the Norwegian Directorate of Health states.

A total of 317,880 people tested positive for corona in Norway, according to a high updated night to Monday.

A total of 1,136 corona-infected people have died in Norway since March 2020, preliminary figures show. If patients have died of or with covid-19, it is not always possible to strike quickly.
