Seminar in Milan: Tunisia, gateway for Italian companies in Africa
“Tunisia: your gateway to Africa”: this is the theme of the economic meeting, organized on December 9, 2021 at the Palazzoelle Stelline in Milan, Italy, by the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency ( Fipa Tunisie) through its representative office in this city in northern Italy and the Tunisian Embassy in Rome, in collaboration with the Tunisian-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Ctici) and Promos Italia.
This seminar, the first of its kind held in face-to-face mode, post-Covid pandemic, is part of the promotion of Tunisia as an attractive destination for foreign direct investments, especially Italian ones. It made it possible to present the investment and business opportunities that prevail in our country in sectors with high growth potential and to emphasize the role of the private sector in the post-covid economic recovery.
This day, inaugurated by Moez Sinaoui, Ambassador of Tunisia in Italy, was marked by an important day of representatives of Italian companies who were part of their interest in establishing business relations and partnerships in Tunisia.
The interventions of Abdelbasset Ghanmi, General Manager of Fipa-Tunisia, Mourad Fradi, president of Ctici, Francesco Tilli, head of external relations at Simest (subsidiary of the Italian deposit and loan fund, specializing in supporting Italian companies abroad) and Carlo Napoleoni, Head of the Enterprises – Banca ICCREA division, presented an overview of the advantages and investment opportunities in Tunisia.
