CITIZENSHIP: Marlène Schiappa announced this Monday in Dijon
The Interior Ministry indicates that the Minister of Citizenship is scheduled in Dijon on Monday, December 13 to chair a meeting of the departmental unit for the fight against Islamism and the community response.
Marlène SCHIAPPA, Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Interior, in charge of citizenship, will travel to Dijon on Monday 13 2021 to chair the departmental unit for the fight against Islamism and community withdrawal (CLIR).
The CLIRs mobilize all the departmental services, under the chairmanship of the prefect and in close coordination with the public prosecutor. They also bring together, depending on the themes identified, external partners (elected officials, social landlords, transport operators, etc.). The CLIRs coordinate permanently with the Evaluation Groups (GED) and the Radicalization Prevention and Family Support Cells (CPRAF) and regularly work on the Departmental Antifraud Operational Committees (CODAF) or the Groups. of Regional Intervention (GIR).
The missions of the departmental units for the fight against Islamism and the community response are:
– The establishment of a diagnosis of the state of Islamism and of the community response in the department. A shared mapping is developed, allowing a crossed approach and a broad transversal vision.
– The centralization and sharing of confidential information on the phenomena of Islamism and community response. This information comes both from State administrations present in the field, as well as elected officials or other local actors.
– The initiation of controls on the basis of information, under the authority of the judiciary and within the framework of general or special police powers of administrative police.
– The follow-up of the observed infringements.
– The definition and proposal of a support strategy or alternative offers, to allow a return of republican values and principles, in conjunction with elected officials, local communities and partner associations.
