Miguel Lopes returns to Portugal to represent Estrela da Amadora

As O JOGO said, Portuguese international footballer Miguel Lopes is the latest addition to Estrela da Amadora, announced this Wednesday the team that is active in the SABSEG League, through social networks.
Miguel Lopes, 34 years old, will wear the 19th shirt of the tricolors, which specify that the player will reinforce the team guided by coach Ricardo Chéu as central defender, after a career made mostly in the right-back position.
AA capped on four occasions, the experienced footballer returns to Portugal after five years in Turkey, where he represented Kayserispor and Akhisar, after being ceded to Granada by Sporting, the last Portuguese club he had represented.
With training between Oriental, Olivais and Moscavide and Alverca, Miguel Lopes started a senior career at Benfica B, passing by Operário Lagoa and Rio Ave before moving to FC Porto, from where he was loaned to the Spanish side Betis and Braga.
Returned to the dragons in 2012/13, the season in which he was crowned national champion, the defender moved in January of that season to rival Sporting and, in the meantime, he was loaned again, this time to French Lyon.
In his curriculum, in addition to a Portuguese I League, Miguel Lopes also has two Cups of Portugal (2009/10, for FC Porto, and 2014/15, for Sporting), three Super Cups (2009, 2010 and 2012, all for Porto) , a Spanish League II (2010/11, with Betis) and, in Turkey, a Cup and a Super Cup (2017/18), by Akhisar.
Estrela da Amadora occupies the 12th position of the Portuguese II League, with 16 points, and will host, next Monday, from 18:00, Casa Pia, second, with 27, at Estádio José Gomes, in game counting for the 14th round of the championship.
