Debrecen – More than two hundred people have died due to the coronavirus and 6,800 new infections have been registered in Hungary in the last 24 hours. Doctors continue to encourage vaccination because only with adequate protection can infection be avoided during the big family holidays at the end of the winter. In Debrecen, visitors to the Bethlen Street Vaccination Center are welcome every day from seven in the morning until seven in the evening.

“I have a family, my grandson, my great-grandson, they are important to me, I don’t want to catch the disease,” explained András Kecseti.
The fourth wave of the epidemic is still strong in Hungary. In the last 24 hours, 213 patients have died and more than 6,800 new infections have been found, 309 of them in Hajdú-Bihar County. Experts say it’s still too late to get a vaccine and get protection.

Meanwhile, the opportunity has opened up for parents of children aged 5 to 11 to have an appointment either at their pediatrician or at the vaccination center.
