AS Monaco – Kovac: “We are not here to do tourism”
Traveling to Austria for the last day of the Europa League to face Sturm Graz at 6:45 p.m. The Monegasques are assured of first place in Group B. This match is therefore without a stake, but Niko Kovac, ASM coach, announces that his team will play the match thoroughly.
” We will field a good team tomorrow (Thursday), I will change a few players but we will have a strong team. We will see depending on the scenario, but I have the idea of โโmaking substitutions if possible from the break, because we have an important match on Sunday (in Paris, in Ligue 1). But we are here to win, we are not here to do tourism even though it is a beautiful region. It’s a European match, in a Champions League level group. There is money at stake, prestige. This is not a friendly match, we play against Sturm Graz, a competitive team which is at the top of the Austrian ranking. It is also an opportunity for young people to show their qualities.
