The facts go back to the month of february 2020. During a towing on a Toulouse market, a schoolteacher attacked an elected representative of the National Rally (RN). The assault took place on February 9, 2020, when electoral campaign for municipal elections was in full swing. According to our colleagues from La Dépêche du Midi, that day, the candidate, also regional adviser of the RN, distributed leaflets in downtown Toulouse, alongside a dozen party members.
