5,259 new corona infections registered in the last 24 hours
In the last seven days, an average of 4,055 corona infections have been registered per day.
The corresponding average seven days ago was 2,889, so the trend is rising.
The previous day, 5,138 cases were registered, 121 fewer than the last day.
On Tuesday, 320 corona patients were hospitalized. There were 25 more than the day before.
90 of the patients are in the intensive care unit, and among them 50 are on a respirator. There are eight more on intensive care and three more on a respirator compared with the day before, according to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s overview.
At midnight to Thursday, NOK 8.6 million had been spent in the country since February last year.

To date, 4,250,356 people have received the first dose of the coronary vaccine, 3,862,221 people have received the second and 765,514 have received the third dose.
A total of 1,134 corona-infected people have died in Norway since March 2020, preliminary figures show. If patients have died of or with covid-19, it is not always possible to strike quickly.
59.4 percent of all deaths have reached the age of 80. In the age group under 50, 26 deaths have been reported in Norway.
