Toulouse. The Aucamville Guitar Festival is looking for new talents for 2022
The Aucamville et du Nord Toulousain Guitar Festival returns from March 17 to 27, 2022, in the 7 partner municipalities: Aucamville, Bruguières, Fenouillet, Fonbeauzard, Gagnac sur Garonne, Launaguet and Toulouse-Lalande.
Ahead of this 30th edition, the festival team is organizing its 7th Springboard dedicated to emerging talents from the region, with the primary desire to highlight the young local scene on Saturday 5 February 2022 in Fonbeauzard.
Open to musicians aged 14 to 30
The Guitar Festival Springboard is open to young groups from the region, aged between 14 and 30, amateurs or in the process of professionalization. The opportunity for them to present their projects in professional conditions. The springboard is open to all musical styles as long as special care is offered on guitar playing and
that they present their own compositions.
Registrations are open
Until January 15, 2022, groups can send their applications to the Fonbeauzard Youth Education Service: [email protected].
They must provide a bio of the group and its members, one or more MP3 tracks, their contact details, and if possible a link to their website / Facebook page / Youtube channel in order to discover their universe. Selected entrants will be announced on January 22.
Prize winners
– Play in the first part of Tom Ibarra’s concert on Saturday February 26, 2022 at the Métronum in Toulouse.
– Record a video capture of a piece played live on the Bascala stage (in partnership with ISPRA, audiovisual school and cinema of
Toulouse).
