After two years the immovable actor George Papageorgiou returns with his band, them Polkar, in Cross of the south club, where they will be located from Saturday 11 December and every Saturday for limited impressions. Polkar as a “drunk dancer singing a fake”, as a “celebration of music and the unbearable diridacht” that we should not miss. In Ano Petralona. It was a semi-basement, very beautiful inside, without much light of course. I lived quite lonely but nice there for as long as I was in the drama school of the National. In my house there was a mattress, a computer, an unspeakably small advertising fridge and a CD player playing the repeat of “Moon Safari” by Air.
Where do you live now?
In Barnabas Square in Pagrati. I have been living there for 12 years, but to be precise I have been coming and going since I was a child in the neighborhood, my grandmother Elenaki and my aunt Magda lived here. It is perhaps one of the few places in Athens where I feel a connection, a contact with the place.

I have not lived in any, but I have seen many. Let’s say Berlin is a favorite city. Its advantage in relation to Athens is its culture and respect for art and its people. The disadvantage is that the water is very expensive.

Ideal, Theater of Cyclades Street, Politia, Stavros tou Notou.
