A car driver who had obvious problems staying in lane was noticed by police officers on Monday afternoon on the Westautobahn (A1) near Salzburg-Nord. The officials employed the 30-year-old for an inspection.
The Upper Austria admitted to having smoked a joint before starting the journey, the police reported in a broadcast on Tuesday. An addictive substance test carried out immediately showed positive results for THC (cannabis) and cocaine. A medical examination revealed that the driver was unfit to drive. The man was forbidden to continue driving and his driver’s license was temporarily removed.

The police also found two grams of cannabis and a slingshot with a folding knife integrated in the handle in the 30-year-old. The police said that there was already an upright ban on weapons against the man.
