It is a bet that Virginie Troubat has decided to take up, in the name of her dream come true, that manage your own shop : she opened the only one ready-to-wear brand in the street mainly populated by food shops, the rue du Vieux-Palais, in Rouen (Seine-Maritime). It is at number 27 that is now located Lya’s Shop, which is the culmination of Virginie’s many years of experience as an employee in sales. “I had the role of manager of a maternity clothing store on rue Ganterie for eight years. It was everything I liked, a cozy little shop where we paid attention to customers, ”explains the 49-year-old Rouennaise.
A large space
This proximity to people, she found a high point in maintaining it, in an atmosphere that she describes as “cocooning”. And indeed, at the entrance, on the left, Virginie has set up a sofa corner, where the “accompanying” buyers can drink a coffee and give their opinion during the fittings. A result that comes at the end of colossal work – “We broke everything! “, Indicates the owner – necessary to erase the traces of a former beauty institute, where” everything was compartmentalized “. And all in record time. “This summer, we had no plans to open the store yet… Everything happened very quickly, after the summer holidays. “
Tuesday, December 7, the opening date of the business, Virginie’s motivation is at its highest. Sure of the selection of articles she has made, she now hopes to reach as many women as possible. “There is something for all generations, with many models that are in one size. For the rest, it goes from 36 to 52, with a large size space ”, continues the manager. It does not exclude responding to more personalized requests, and the integration of always different models, or an even wider range of sizes.
