The meeting with the representative of Mikulov, which appeared on Monday, already has a concrete form. “Today we sent an official request to the city for cooperation regarding the connection of Mikulov to the Mucha Trail, so that it could be discussed by the city authorities,” Jan Večerek, secretary of the Mucha Foundation, which manages the author’s work, confirmed to Deník Rovnost on Tuesday.

Newly, for example, in Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou, where hidden treasures in the form of Mucha’s original paintings are released by the ceilings of the local town hall. For many years it was hidden under a plaster that preserved them perfectly. The restorers return them to their original beauty.
In addition to Mucha’s birthplace Ivančice in the Brno region and Moravský Krumlov in the Znojmo region, where the Slavonic epic, a well-established exhibition and later a trail, to Blansko, are exhibited at the local chateau. In Doubravice nad Svitavou, for example, they will see the recently discovered theater curtain, which Alfons Mucha painted for amateurs there.
