It was supposed to be a Saturday like many others to spend in San Marino, but it wasn’t like that. The girl’s father lives in the Republic, who moved to the Titano from Lombardy a couple of years ago. And Elly, just two years ago, left school, friendships and passions that she cultivated in Milan to follow her family in Romagna. “He was enjoying himself” say some friends, who had an accident on Sunday morning.
Daniele, originally from Modena, Rimini. He was passionate about engines, especially motorcycles (an interest probably inherited from his father, a mechanic). He is described as a kind-mannered boy, respectful of others, quiet. He talked about engines with his classmates and also with the teachers. And when someone asked him about the future, he did not rule out dedicating himself to engines, perhaps alongside his father.
Elly loved skating, so much so that she made it her sport for several years. He practiced synchronized ice skating and competed for a long time for the Milanese club Hot Shivers. “We have a good memory of her – they say from society – and her disappearance generates great sorrow. She was a girl who loved being together with her companions, who relates perfectly to them as on the other hand our discipline requires. We are destroyed. and incredulous “.
His teammate was Arianna, a peer of the same age. “But we were real friends, because we also dated outside of sport. I felt when Elly, sad two years ago, told us that she had left Lombardy to move to Romagna. And now, knowing that she is not there. it is more, I feel an even greater, immense sadness “. Some of the skaters of the Milanese society know Elly’s parents. “To the mother – says Arianna – we will send a single message, all together, to make her feel our closeness. Elly was a wonderful girl, we shared wonderful moments and spent a lot of time together. We felt a little less than a year ago for my birthday. I know she was fine in Romagna. I’m sorry I didn’t look for her in recent months. I will never forget her. ”
Today, in the meantime, at the Volta-Fellini in Riccione we go back to class. Everyone, head teacher, teachers, staff and students, will remember Daniele and Elly. There will also be a moment of meditation, a minute of silence. Two students, 18-year-olds full of dreams to fulfill, are gone.
