Vladimir Putin believes that the party’s success in the elections was determined not by slogans, but by a creative agenda.

At the third stage of the XX Congress, which was held in Moscow on December 4, “United Russia” summed up the results of its work for five years, outlined plans for the implementation of the people’s program, with which it won the elections to the State Duma, and also renewed the composition of the governing bodies. As the president noted in his speech, the party’s success in the elections was determined not by loud slogans, but by the attitude towards voters. United Russia has offered people a constructive, creative and unifying agenda.

“The people’s program is already being implemented. Its priorities are reflected in the federal budget. Your faction not only supported this bill, introduced a number of significant amendments of a social nature, among them – an increase in wages and a living wage “, – reminded Vladimir Putin. He emphasizes that the immediate implementation of the set goals provides United Russia as a responsible and mature political force.

The President agrees – United Russia has all the resources to support people in resolving issues of concern. And he urged the party in personnel work to rely on those who have proven themselves in socially significant activities, science, entrepreneurship, and creative fields.

“I believe that the voters positively assessed the serious renewal of the ranks of United Russia. Volunteers, civic activists, youth leaders became its candidates. The composition of your faction in the State Duma has changed almost by half. By relying on those who are talented, successful, not indifferent, by engaging in joint projects, helping to build a political career, the party ensures broad popular representation, and this is a strategically important mission. I am sure that United Russia is capable of realizing it “, – the head of state said.

He singled out the role of the party in uniting forces around common goals and responses.

“I count on the United Russia party as a powerful, reliable political force, on your professionalism and energy in solving the large-scale tasks that we have outlined for the coming years and a long-term perspective.”– concluded the president.

In turn, the chairman of the party Dmitry Medvedev, the favorable role of the “United Policy” will play a role in maintaining a stable and stable country, consistently following the course of the president.

In recent years, United Russia has undertaken most of the legislative work in the social direction – today there are more than 50 million people in social support. The party ensured the extension of the maternity capital program, the introduction of 100% sick leave payments for parents with children under seven years old, an increase in benefits for pregnant women in difficult life situations, payments to families where one parent brings up a child from eight to 16 years old, etc. We managed to help rural retirees, to advance in solving the problem of resettlement from dilapidated housing, protection of the rights of equity holders.

“A lot has been done for schoolchildren – from the law on free hot meals for primary school students to the renewal of the school bus fleet. At the suggestion of United Russia, schools have received more than nine thousand vehicles since 2016 “, – recalled the chairman of the party.

These achievements would have been impossible without the constant development of United Russia and the renewal of its ranks.

“We opened the Higher Party School, launched the PolitStartup project, which gave a powerful impetus to intraparty competition. 3.5 thousand of its participants became deputies of different levels. 15 people became members of the State Duma “, – he said.

Party projects also worked successfully. Within their framework, 370 schools were built and another 1,300 will be built until 2024. The queue for kindergartens is being eliminated – more than 480 thousand new places are being created and at least 77 thousand more will appear. More than 60 thousand yards and 20 thousand spaces were put in order – with the direct participation of residents. A system of long-term care for the elderly is being created, the construction of polyclinics, the development of school medicine and the training of medical personnel.

Public reception offices of United Russia are working to protect the rights of people. From 2017 to 2021, they received over a million million calls. During the pandemic, reception rooms became a platform for volunteers – there are more than 80 thousand of them in the volunteer centers of United Russia. They have already completed 1.7 million calls, delivered millions of hot food kits to physicians and a drug outpatient. They will continue their work in key areas – car volunteering, assistance in the “red”, delivery of food kits and medicines.

Dmitry Medvedev called the main goal for the party for the coming years to fulfill the obligations laid down in the people’s program. The document will be corrected and supplemented in accordance with the requests of people.

“To fulfill the people’s program, plans for the development of Russia, we have everything necessary: ​​strength, experience and knowledge, proven personnel. Support from the President, strong contacts with experts, the public, and business. But the main thing is that we have the trust of voters ”, – he concluded.

The head of the United Russia faction in the State Duma, Vladimir Vasiliev, in turn, so that the United Russia deputies annually report on the implementation of the people’s program before the party congress – the president called this initiative correct.

During the congress, Dmitry Medvedev was re-elected chairman of United Russia for another five years. Boris Gryzlov – for the post of chairman of the Supreme Council of the party.

The supreme council of United Russia itself has been renewed by almost half. It included, in particular, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Ecology Dmitry Kobylkin, Deputy Plenipotentiary Federal District of the President in the Far Eastern District Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Sergei Neverov, Chief Physician of the hospital in Kommunarka Denis Protsenko, People’s Artist of Russia Vladimir Mashkov, Committee Committee State Duma of the Russian Federation for Youth Policy Mikhail Kiselev, First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Olga Batalina, Director General of ASI Svetlana Chupsheva and others. In total, the Supreme Council of the party consists of 100 people. At the suggestion of Boris Gryzlov, the party also appointed members of the Bureau of the High Council.

Andrei Turchak was unanimously re-elected Secretary of the General Council of United Russia. His deputies were the head of the United Russia Duma faction Vladimir Vasiliev, Deputy Head of the Government Staff Alexander Gribov, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma, head of the United Russia commission for the protection of motherhood, childhood and support Anna Kuznetsova, assistant of the Presidential Administration for Public Relations and Communications Daria Lantratova, Senator Sergei Perminov and head of the Central Executive Committee of the party Alexander Sidyakin.

The General Council itself has been renewed by more than half. At the same time, the quantitative composition was the same – 170 people.

Among the new members of the governing body of the United Russia body: State Duma Deputy Dmitry Khubezov, Tatyana Butskaya and Artem Bichaev, Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Young Guard of United Russia Anton Demidov, secretary of the Belgorod regional branch of the party, acting governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov, Deputy Head of the United Russia faction in the State Duma Igor Kastyukevich, Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov and others. The Presidium of the General Council of the party was also renewed.
