Florence, December 5, 2021 – Florence wins the Zecchino d’Oro. Zoe Adamelli, nine years old from Tavarnuzze di Impruneta, triumphed in the final of the 64th edition of the singing event dedicated to children. “Superbabbo” (text and music by Marco Masini, Emiliano Cecere and Veronica Rauccio), is the winning song that already tells a lot about Tuscany from the title.
To the second place ‘There will be a bit of you’, which for the music bears the signature of Claudio Baglioni, sung by 9-year-old Veronica Marchesi from Gorle (Bergamo).
Fourteen songs in the competition and 17 little ones I interpreted between 4 and 10 years, which are measured with songs written by other ‘signatures’ such as Giovanni Caccamo, Flavio Premoli (Pfm) and Luca Mascini (Assalti Frontali). The winning piece was chosen by a children’s jury and by a special jury composed of Francesca Fialdini, Paolo Conticini (conductors of the first two days), Cristina D’Avena (who participated in the Zecchino d’Oro in 1968 with ‘Il valzer del moscerino’), Elettra Lamborghini and Orietta Berti, protagonists – together with the Piccolo chorus ‘Mariele Ventre’ directed by Sabrina Simoni – of an unpublished piece, ‘Amazzonia’, which tells the importance of preserving the largest green lung on our planet.
