Russia writes messages about the war with Ukraine on December 5, 2021 – Society – News of St. Petersburg.
The Russian Embassy in the United States responded to a request from the Financial Times about the possible threat of an “invasion” of Ukraine. The response of the diplomatic department is published on page on Facebook on December 5th.
“Russia does not pose a threat to any country. The deployment of Russian troops on national territory is our sovereign right. This does not concern anyone, ”the message says.
“Last spring, the hysterical assessments of officials about Russia’s alleged preparation of an invasion of Ukraine were false,” the diplomatic department concluded.
Diplomats also pointed out that NATO is “recklessly moving its armed forces and military infrastructure to the Russian borders,” although the only thing they think Washington needs to do is force Kiev to comply with the Minsk agreements.
A similar opinion was expressed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov in his commentary on the TV channel “Russia 1”. He believes that Ukraine will not comply with the Minsk instructions for implementation.
It was reported that Russia may be planning an “invasion” of Ukraine in early 2022. The German newspaper Bild claims to have learned the details of the plans and published the corresponding scheme, stating that it is based on information received by the newspaper “from sources from NATO and the special services.” The number of the military is also indicated – 175 thousand people.
The tabloid editorial office predicts that it will start in January or February 2022 and describe it as a simultaneous attack from northern Crimea, through the territory of the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR, to the east and north. In the presented diagram of the newspaper, Lviv is designated as Lemberg – this is the Austrian name of the city until 1918, which was previously part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
