Piotr Michalski broke the Polish record for 500 meters at the World Cup competition in Salt Lake City – Speed skating
Michalski with a result of 34.235, better by 0.185 points, judged by Wasia in 2015.
The Sunday competition was won by the Japanese Wataru Morishige, who was the only one to break the 34 second barrier (33,997). Marek Kania was 14th in group A. In group B, fourth place was Damian Żurek, 17th Artur Nogal.
Weak offenses of the White and Reds
At 1500 m, Japanese Miho Takagi outclassed her rivals. Natalia Czerwonka took 17th.
