Participation of the Patras Conservatory in the three days of Contemporary Music in Athens News
The Patras Philharmonic Society participates in the three-day events of Contemporary Music organized by the Center for Contemporary Music Research (KSYME), at the Athens Conservatory, on December 9, 10 and 11, 2021.
The events that feature two works by Vasiliki Filippaiou, director of the Conservatory and will feature concerts by students, teachers and ensembles of the Conservatory:
1. School of Guitar professor Andronikos Karaberis. The student, Konstantina Nikolakopoulou, interprets: “Prelude, Gigue – Double” (BWV 997) by JS Bach.
2. School of Guitar teacher Christos Tsarouchis. The student Ioanna Lazari, interprets the “Studies” No1 and 11 of H. Villa Lobos
3. Guitar School of Professor Panagiotis Kidoniatis. Students George Nikolaou, George Andrikogiannopoulos, Vasiliki Kidoniati and Panagiotis Tzanis, perform “Cuban Landscape With Rain” by Leo Brower.
4. Piano School of teacher Giannas Zografou. Panagiota Dinopoulou interprets “Claire de Lune” by C. Debussy and “Nocturne”, No1, op.9 by F. Chopin.
5. Flute School of Rania Kavvadia. Student Stavros Pittas interprets “Piece pour flute seule” by Jacques Ibert.
6. Piano School of Professor Maria Trakada. The student Aphrodite Korogiannou interprets the “1st Arabesque” by C. Debussy.
7. School of Percussion by Professor Panos Thoidis. Panos Thoidis interprets “Glamor” by Casey Cangelosi.
8. “Orchestra De Salon Philharmonic Society Conservatory of Patras”. They interpret the first part of the 1st agreement of Lv Beethoven and the polka “Feuerfest” op.269 by J. Strauss.
