Sunday December 5, 2021, around 4:30 am, the firefighters of the municipality of Saint-Lys (Haute-Garonne), to the west of Toulouse, responded to the fire in a parked avenue du 19 mars 1962, indicated the SDIS 31 to Toulouse news.

Ignited gas leak

Arrived on the spot, the firefighters detected that the fire had spread to the gas network which leaks a but especially a flaming leak.

The six firefighters extinguished the fire before securing the perimeter. Their intervention ended around 6:30 a.m.

It required cutting off the gas supplying the village’s “Le Petit Prince” nursery school. A school which therefore finds itself without heating.

Not sure he’ll be back for the return of the children on Monday.
