You already know the Christmas atmosphere in Warsaw. As in the project of the year, the city illumination beautified pl. Zamkowy and Krakowskie Przedmieście.

The town hall previously informed that “there will be 9 free-standing decorations on the entire length of the site.” one of them is a 27-meter Christmas tree. In its vicinity there are projects: “balloon seller” and “Warsaw organ grinder”.

At the monument of Nicolaus Copernicus there is a “horse tram”, in the square of ks. Jan Twardowski, “chess pieces” and “chessboard”, and in Hoover Square, a “rotuzel” invites you to the neck. In the last square there is also a “gazebo for lovers”, who concluded that you could consume in it and on the page located in it, “a greeting card”. There was also a 54-meter long “service tunnel” at the ks. Jan Twardowski.

As every year, street lamps will also be decorated. Christmas decorations were hung on 108 lighting poles on Krakowskie Przedmieście and 15 on Castle Square. On the other hand, 63 trees were decorated with energy-saving eco-LED diodes.

The illuminations of the lights come with energy-saving eco-LEDs. They consume one 10 times less electricity than traditional light bulbs. “Thanks to this decoration, this year it will oscillate around PLN 1,000 a day. Electricity expenditure for Christmas lights is only 0.4 percent. All walls completed “ – summed up the town hall.

From now on, a slide, popular among Warsaw residents, is operating on the Old Town Square. This year, the ice rink has a new structure, worn out and made of wood. The pane will have 300 meters of gas. The ice rink will be open daily from 10 am to 9 pm with technical breaks every two hours.

Admission to the ice rink is free. Renting skates for 10 zlotys, the Varsovian card gives a discount of one zloty. This season, 15 ice rinks in 12 districts will be open throughout Warsaw this season. Some are already here.
