There were more than 960 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days. High-risk locations also increased.

There are 10 municipalities in Portugal with an extreme risk of infection by Covid-19. In the last 14 days there were more than 960 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. This list, updated this Friday, December 3, by the General Directorate of Health (DGS), includes: Portimão, Carregal do Sal, Monchique, Barrancos, Vimioso, Terras de Bouro, Mira, Serpa, Soure and Vila Nova of Paiva.
Another fact that worries the health authorities in Portugal is the rise in the number of municipalities with high or very high risk: from 154 to 194 since the last count carried out.
At very high risk are 68 municipalities: they have an accumulated incidence between 480 and 959 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days. There are still 110 municipalities with high risk: they report between 240 and 479 cases.
There is only one municipality with less than 20 cases per 100,000 inhabitants: that of Vila do Porto. Coronavirus infections in Portugal have been increasing in recent weeks. Just this Friday, December 3, 21 deaths were registered and another 2,535 new cases.
