Sharks challenged with the cops

After the 0: 4 against EC-KAC, HC TIWAG Innsbruck-Die Haie is waiting for the next tough opponent tomorrow, Sunday. The Tyrolean guest at the cops in Salzburg.
Almost four weeks break in the game, few training sessions – the Haie were noticeably lacking match practice in the 4-0 draw against the KAC. For HCI defender Daniel Jakubitzka, however, no excuse: “We played badly, it’s that simple. We didn’t hit a target, we didn’t hit it, that’s the result,” said Jakubitzka. Against Daniel’s ex-club Salzburg, the face of the sharks should be different again. “We have to play our game, do our fore-checking, then we are dangerous, and then there is also something inside against Salzburg,” said Jakubitzka, who celebrated his comeback against KAC after several weeks of injury.
The game against Salzburg is the first duel between the Haien and the Red Bulls this season. The somewhat unusual game plan makes it possible. Salzburg are in third place in the table, three places ahead of the sharks. Most recently the Bulls suffered two shootout home defeats against Ljubljana and Pustertal, but have a positive record in the last 10 games with 7 wins and 3 defeats.
