San Marino, Perilli, Berti and Amine athletes of the year

Sugar Mizzy December 4, 2021

A Press Sportinsieme emotions triple. For the first time since it was established, the Athlete of the Year award goes not to one, but to three athletes. And the athletes in question not that be them, Alessandra Perilli, Gian Marco Berti and Myles Nazem Amine Mularoni, the first three Olympic medalists in the history of San Marino.
The coronation took place last night, at the height of the Sportinsieme Awards evening, organized by the San Marino National Olympic Committee and staged at the Concordia Theater in Borgo Maggiore, in the presence of His Excellency Giacomo Simoncini.

At the opening of the event, conducted by the San Marino journalist RTV Palmiro Faetanini, the president of the CONS Gian Primo Giardi has drawn up an assessment of the Olympic cycle that has come to an end, with its difficulties but also the challenges it has overcome. The Secretary of State Teodoro Lonfernini stressed the importance of believing and investing in sport.
Ample space was dedicated to the Tokyo medals in a talk show, moderated by the communication manager of the CONS Massimo Boccucci, which saw the precious contributions of two exceptional testimonials: the Olympic commentator of Sport Franco Bragagna and the director of Tuttosport Xavier Jacobelli, the latter connected remotely due to a last-minute problem that prevented him from being in San Marino.
Before being awarded Athletes of the Year, Berti, Amine Mularoni and Perilli were awarded the Golden flame, the emblem with which the CONS recognizes titles of extraordinary merit demonstrated in favor of San Marino sport. A Luca Di Mari, skeet shooting technician, was delivered instead the Olympic Collar of the Cons, the honor is awarded to a non-San Marino personality who contributed to the growth and success of the San Marino sports movement. The same recognition will be given to Sergey Beloglazov, coach of the fight, when he returns to San Marino.
Numerous prizes were awarded during the evening, starting with the medals for sporting merit. The silver went to the rally co-driver Mirco Gabrielli, gold to two other FAMS members, Roberto Selva and Lorenzo Ercolani. Gold also for the manager of the San Marino Baseball Club Stefano Macina and for the timekeeper Luigi Zavoli.
Awards were given to those who, in the course of 2021, distinguished themselves at an Italian and international level: the ‘young promises’ Noemi Viserbi (Karate), Alessandra Gasparelli (Athletics), Matilde Terenzi (sports on rollers), Chiara Beccari (football), Alessandro Ercolani (baseball) and the Juvenes Under 21 team composed by Federico Giardi, Mattias Mongiusti and Andrea Morri (table tennis).
The results achieved by the San Marino Baseball Club (baseball), Luca Bernardi (motorcycling), Jasmine Verbena and Jasmine Zonzini (synchronized swimming), bowling lover Freedom, Ruggero Marchetti (sports special), Marino Bartolini (archery) e Bruno Zattini (sport fishing).
During the evening, the application, created in collaboration with MrApps, which will serve to catalog the results obtained in the various races. A sort of digital archive that will trace the careers of athletes and technicians.
The annual CONS magazine was also presented Panorama Sport, on stage together with publications “The athletes who made the feat“, By Massimo Boccucci and Lorenzo Giardi, and”Manuel Poggiali story of a champion”By Massimo Rastelli.
First ‘public issue’ also for coins, issued just yesterday by the Philatelic and Numismatic Office of the Republic of San Marino, dedicated to the Olympic medals.
An evening full of emotions, to which were added those given by the splendid voice of Monica Hill, accompanied by the guitar of Giorgio Secco.
Emotions that will be possible to relive this evening, at 20:50, on San Marino RTV.
