The Port-Museum of Douarnenez has also prepared a real festive menu for the end of December. From December 18 to 30, various activities, screenings or shows will punctuate the museum and the Place de l’Enfer.
On Saturday, December 18, the Treizour association will offer a demonstration of fish smoking, from 11 a.m. and then all afternoon, while the Jamadouarn group will give a concert in the same place, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
On Tuesday December 21 and Wednesday December 29, at 3 p.m., boat enthusiasts will visit the An Eostig boatyard, currently on Place de l’Enfer, where it will soon be restored.
Félix and Nicole Le Garrec in the spotlight
On Wednesday 22 and Tuesday 28 December, young audiences from the age of 6 are invited to attend a one-hour show entitled “An Albatroz”, stories of the sea and the sky. through the little story of Jean-Marie Le Bris. They will be narrated by storyteller Lukaz Nedeleg.
On the projection side, finally, “La Part des singes”, a documentary directed by Yannick Charles on the theme of fishing, will be broadcast on Thursday, December 23 at 5 pm in the Auditorium of the Port-Museum. A week later, on Thursday December 30, from 5 p.m., the Port-Museum will offer a cycle around Nicole and Félix Le Garrec, with the screening of four of their documentaries: “Le Poisson Command”, “Santik Du” , “Oiled today” and “Les Enfants dauphins”.
