Drugs in the grocery bag and at home. Also found 16 thousand euros in cash
In recent days, a Florence, the State Police seized 7 and a half kilos of hashish and 16,000 euros in cash: a 39-year-old Moroccan citizen ended up in handcuffs, accused of being finished for drug dealing.
The man, already known to the Police Forces, was stopped on Wednesday afternoon in the Stadium area by the agents of the Judicial Police Squad of the San Giovanni Commissariat. During the check the policemen found that inside a shopping bag, which the man had in his hand, there was an anomalous package of pasta: the carton was in fact stuffed with drugs, almost half a kilo of hashish divided into 5 blocks.
The police then went deeper into the affair by searching the close to the man’s house, where, this time, almost another 5 kilos of the same drug jumped out of a coffee box.
in a old schoolbag San Giovanni investigators finally found over 2 kilos of hashish and a whopping 16,000 euros in cash.
The investigators do not exclude that the money could be proceeds from illicit drug dealing and that the seized drugs could be destined to supply, in turn, other drug dealers in the Florentine territory.
