First unmanned Tony’s kiosk opens at Haan Express Amsterdam
The first unmanned Tony’s Kiosk, developed with the partners
Petrol – The very first Tony’s Kiosk in the Netherlands opened on Friday at the unmanned Haan Express gas station at the Appelweg in Amsterdam North. The unmanned Kiosk, which is open 24/7 and has been developed with a number of partners, is part of the strategy of De Haan Mineral Oils (DHMO) to find answers to the future development within petrol.
The Kiosk offers a practical range of food and drink products, which are offered from the sale. In addition to a basic range of soft drinks, snacks, confectionery and sandwiches, car-related and electronic products can also be found in one of the five vending machines. The showpiece of the Tony’s Kiosk is the Lavazza coffee machine, which offers visitors barista-quality coffee. The machines are controlled by the Tony’s Order & Scan Kiosk, which is located centrally. enter the Newsstand with a debit card or Tony’s Discount Card, which is also available at the Newsstand. Those who use the Tony’s Advantage Card will receive an extra bonus amount when ordering and uploading. In this way it becomes a visit, where it takes place in the Netherlands.
Tony’s tower
The unmanned Kiosk is one of the answers to future developments within petrol. DHMO offers all 24/7 products via vending via the Tony’s Tower. The company already has four of these. The unmanned Tony’s Kiosk in Amsterdam is a further step in offering products at unmanned stations. The building is vandal-proof and fitted with digital LED screens on the outside and inside. These should not only provide a prospect of the Tony’s Kiosk for refueling customers and passing motorists, but also be used to make product offers clear. The screens are centrally controlled and can play in the times of the day, weather conditions of the conditions of future products.
Partners
DHMO certainly did not achieve the development on its own. Retail expert Ulrich Knieling, previously directed for de Haan, now heads CRS (convenience retail solutions), a new part of Lekkerland Nederland, which focuses mainly on Future Proof concepts. They work closely together to provide an answer to the retail transition. The Tony’s Kiosk has been developed by Veloform, Innov, Bulled and H@nd, among others, who have each made an important contribution to the technical and realization in their own field.
