If a non-profit organization that employs limited people is looking for new business premises, it is far from easy. Often the property search fails due to the accessibility.

The furnishing competence is still based in Salzburg-Sam – limited women and men take on different jobs from companies in the region, almost all of them need a seat. In 2023, the non-profit organization will have to move out of the building due to the renting company’s own needs.

The workplace is also care at the same time

The management has been looking for a replacement location for a long time – but in vain after 50 visits and it has not failed in the last few months due to the financing. “I haven’t even found objects that are too expensive. I am seriously worried because there are 50 jobs for people with disabilities, for whom EVERY day they are with us is also important, ”says managing director Ernestine Harrer.

There is currently no quarter for 50 jobs

The new location must have at least 1,200 square meters for workshops, warehouses and offices – an important criterion IS that all rooms are at ground level. In addition, the location must be easily accessible to the public, trucks can and die. Rooms must be in hell.

“We have already looked at some warehouses, but the problem is that they are very high and poorly insulated and are generally not suitable for designed workplaces,” says Operations Manager Monika Tatzreiter. The organization does not cause any noise or smell with its work and it is closed in the evening and on weekends.
