Victory for the reserve team of Mende volley Lozère and first success for the U15F
Sunday, November 28, at the Piencourt gymnasium, Mende volley Lozère 2 beat Avignon volleyball 2, 3 sets to 1 (25-22; 23-25; 29-27; 25-18).
Another high level match for the reserve team against that of Avignon. The Mendois had come up against very physical Lyonnais a week earlier. There, they had technical players in front of them, most of them beach volleyball specialists.
The two teams have been neck and neck for three sets. The MVL recalling the first and Avignon, the second. The key to the match was certainly the third, when all of the Vauclusians had two set points. A block and a defense allowed the locals to regain control. Avignon finally gave up in the fourth set. How hard it was for the MVL! It took great solidarity for him to get out of it.
This N3 hen has a high level. The Mendois experience it every weekend. Next Sunday, towards Saint-Etienne, before the match, in Mende, Saturday, December 18, against the undefeated leader, Le Pontet.
