The magic of the end of year celebrations in the Principality
With the approach of the end of year celebrations, Monaco puts on its finery and meets on its 31st to display the magic of winter on the shores of the Mediterranean. From hotels to events in the heart of town, from the area around Place du Casino to the Fontvieille district, the elegance of the Principality mingles with the magic of Christmas for the pleasure of young and old.
At a time when the days are shortening and pulling behind them a large black canvas, the Principality unveils its winter charms. Starting with the illuminations of the city, which kicked off on Monday 22 November. And if the Christmas lights are scheduled to go out on January 2, 2022, the illuminations of the Fontvieille district will continue to amaze everyone’s eyes until the end of the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival scheduled for the 30 January !
For those who have not yet been able to contact Santa Claus, do not panic: La Poste Monaco has opened its ephemeral secretariat like every year. Mail can be left in the mailbox of the Metropolitan shopping center or in any other mailbox in the Principality.
The magic continues in the Christmas village of Port Hercule. This season, the great Canadian north and its incomparable atmosphere are invited to Port Hercule until the beginning of January.
