New medicine for coronavirus will come from Istanbul University
Istanbul University Faculty of Pharmacy has taken an important step in the fight against coronavirus.
Phase-2 studies, whose planes will travel by breathing, have been completed.
The team of 16 people worked at night.
Working with Assoc. Ayça Yıldız Peköz, clinical studies are carried out by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Erelel conducted it.
The Phase-3 protector of the drug will be Turkey’s first coronavirus drug.
“Patients with distress appear to have recovered in the study”
Istanbul University Faculty Member Assoc. Ayca Yıldız Peköz said the following about the drug:
“They were getting sick in 80 patients and they were breathing. The patients of the drug were getting sick and they were breathing. In this way, we could easily get in contact with the drug in this way, from the way to the bottom and from the way to the respiratory tract.
For now, the drug has only been approved by the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. Phase-3 study is expected to be hope for all approvals Turkey and the world.
