MVO Nederland launches website about circular procurement
Partner
MVO Nederland is launching ikwilcirculairinkopen.nl, the website full of information for buyers on circular and future-proof purchasing. The sustainable business network is developing the website in collaboration with PIANOo, the procurement expertise center of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, Rijkswaterstaat and NEVI, the association for purchasing and supply management. Users find practical and relevant information based on their organizational level job title. The website should continue the transition to a circular economy.
In the circular economy, raw materials, components and products retain their value as much as possible in closed cycles. So: no waste and a significant reduction in CO2 emissions. This means that organizations focus in all their activities on making the life cycle of raw materials, products and parts as long as possible, starting with the purchasing process.
Ikwilcirculairinkopen.nl is aimed at everyone who is involved in the purchasing process. This therefore applies not only to customers, but also to suppliers. The latter must, for example, have a circular purchasing group in order to be able to make a circular offer. From step-by-step plans, tips and practical examples to articles and events: on the website, clients, purchasing advisors, sales and CSR managers, and policy makers can find information tailored to their position.
Ikwilcirculairinkopen.nl is an initiative of the Acceleration Network Circular Procurement and is made possible by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. This is a follow-up to the Green Deal Circular Procurement (GDCI). Thanks to this program of initiators Rijkswaterstaat, PIANOo, NEVI and MVO Nederland, approximately three hundred million euros worth of goods has been purchased in a circular manner. The Circular Procurement Acceleration Network is continuing to work on boosting the circular economy by bundling and sharing the knowledge and expertise of public and private parties.
