In consultation with the social and economic partners, the government has decided to implement an extension of the health pass from December 15, 2021 until January 31, 2022 inclusive.

The new provisions concern, on the one hand, the staff of places open to the public who require passage for their customers, and on the other hand, the period of validity of PCR and antigen tests.

Concretely, the personnel of all places where the health pass is required from the public will be subject to the presentation of a health pass. This provision includes technical and administrative staff working on site, with the exception of delivery activities and emergency response.

The pass must produce proof of a complete vaccination schedule, or a negative PCR or antigen test, or a certificate of recovery from Covid more than 11 days and less than 6 months after the last positive test.

Period of validity of PCR and antigen tests

The validity period of PCR or antigenic tests for the personnel concerned is increased from 24 to 72 hours. This flexibility will make it possible to meet professional requirements, while ensuring the health security of all.

For non-professionals, such as restaurant customers or spectators at an event, the validity of PCR or antigen tests is reduced to 24 hours.

These measures, while the validity of the health pass outside Monaco will very soon be subject to a booster dose of vaccine.
