Today there are exactly 125 out of 31,000, compared to 379 last week. 38 are limited in Tarn, 22 in Haute-Garonne, 17 in Lot and as many in Aveyron, 15 in Tarn-et-Garonne, 12 in Gers, 2 in Hautes-Pyrénées and 2 in Ariège. In addition, 3 establishments are closed in the Toulouse academy, against 5 last week. These are 3 schools grouped together in Tarn, Lot and Haute-Garonne.
The number of Covid-19 cases makes a link
At the same time, the virus continues to accelerate in schools. The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases over the past 7 days has jumped. Going from 1134 the last week to 1958 cases today, among the 534,000 students of the academy, including nearly 300 in the last 24 hours. Among the 52,000 staff there are 175 cases, against 155 a week earlier. The Toulouse rectorate finally indicates that around ten thousand saliva tests were offered to students and staff of the academy from November 15 to 22. 7622 were carried out.
