Cabrita leaves Government, Portugal has not registered as many deaths by Covid since March and other TSF highlights
Minister Eduardo Cabrita is leaving the Government. The holder of the Ministry of Internal Affairs asked for his resignation after an accusation of his driver was known. At issue is the accident that killed a person on the A6.
The resignation request was promptly accepted by the prime minister, António Costa.

The dismissal of the Government’s MAI comes on the day that health authorities registered another 2535 new infections and 21 deaths, the highest number of deaths since March.

This Friday afternoon was also marked by the explosion that occurred in a building in Lisbon. The accident, which is thought to have been caused by a gas leak, caused four injuries. one of them was in serious condition. All were transported to Hospital de São José.
