Ban on dancing in clubs, 3G in public buildings
Berlin – After the resolutions of the Bund-Länder-Round on Thursday, the Berlin Senate met again for a special session on Friday. As the Berliner Zeitung is confirmed from Senate circles, the clubs remain open under 2G conditions. Inside there is at least one ban on dancing, as Christian Gaebler (SPD), head of the Senate Chancellery, said on Friday. Berlin has also taken a stronger decision on the maximum number of people for large events than the federal and state governments had planned. In addition, contact restrictions for unvaccinated people will soon apply in Berlin. Platforms may only be entered by vaccinated, convalescent or tested people. 3G is also gold-plated in trains and buses. The new corona rules come into force on Wednesday.
These new corona rules apply from Wednesday:
- The 3G rule now also applies to platforms. This means that 3G applies to platforms, trains and buses.
- Maximum number of people for large events: 5000 people outdoors, 2500 people indoors. This directly affects the games of the Bundesliga soccer teams Union Berlin and Hertha BSC, but also concerts and large theater events.
- Clubs are only allowed to open outside with the 2G rule, there is a ban on dancing inside the clubs.
- Contact restrictions for unvaccinated people: If only one unvaccinated person joins a meeting, the upper limit is gold-plated: a household may only meet with two other people from another household. Children up to 14 years of age are exempt from this.
- The 2G rule applies to Christmas markets.
- 3G should apply in public buildings.
- Masks are still required in schools.
- Outdoor sports should only be possible with the 3G rule.
In Berlin, the number of infections is currently falling again. Like the RKI on Friday morning on his dashboard reports, the incidence is currently 360.7. The previous day the value was 361.4.
