– Detectable cardiovascular problem is the biggest struggle. Here, with such a screening program, we can provide accurate measurements of obesity, blood sugar, pressure, and cholesterol levels. And for men, we can expand this with a PSA screening in December, said Csaba Papp, director of the Debrecen Institute for Primary Care and Health Development.
The programs will continue in December, this month focusing on diabetes. In connection with this, they bought a new machine. And we want to draw attention to a group of diseases each month that can probably be prevented if we really pay attention to ourselves and focus on our health, Diana Wide stressed.
A new element will be added to the community program from Thursday: heart-friendly themed walks will start on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. Due to the high participation, all those interested are welcome to attend various screenings until 6 pm in the Family and Child Welfare Center and in the Debrecen Institute for Primary Care and Health Development.
