San Marino and Russia signed an agreement on the abolition of visas – International Panorama
SAN MARINO, December 2. / TASS /. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, International Economic Cooperation and Telecommunications of San Marino Luca Beccari signed an agreement on the abolition of visas between the two countries at the meetings of the OSCE Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) in Stockholm. This is stated in the message of the state secretariat for foreign affairs of the republic, which was published on Thursday.

In September, Lavrov announced that an intergovernmental agreement between Russia and San Marino to waive visa requirements is in a high degree of readiness and could be signed soon. On October 28, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on an agreement on the abolition of visas with San Marino. During each period of 180 days, counting from the date of the first entry, subject to the rules of entry, transit and stay on the territory of other states along the route. ”Moreover, for Russians, the period of stay is calculated taking into account the rules of stay in the Schengen area.
