Through Mathieu Normand
A “pop ‘solidarity” auction is organized on Friday 3 December 2021 at hangar 107 a Rouen (Seine-Maritime) for the benefit of People Relief. More than 70 artists donated original works to feed the catalog for this sale.
The funds raised will support the green Santa Claus of Secours populaire. They crisscross France in December to collect financial donations, new toys and party products for the most disadvantaged. “A purchased work is a New Year’s Eve gift to a family”, underlines the association.
A direct sale at 107 and on the internet
“At the beginning, we sold a little bric-a-brac, then the artists gave themselves the word and were numerous to participate,” explains Emilie Lebigre, general secretary of Secours populaire in Seine-Maritime. Michel Bussi, sponsor of this first edition of the event, for example donated two boards from his comic strip A plane without her. A guitar customized by Ozis and dedicated by singer M is also in the catalog, as are works by M. Chat or Gregos.
Norman artists, and especially Rouen, also responded in great numbers. We find names from the local scene like Ecloz, Gaspard Lieb, Prisme Art, Inkoj, Daniel Authouart, Kejo, Dhoa, Chloé Kelly Miller, Paatrice, Emma Poppy… The list is long and to be found with the works on the event catalog. Other objects of all kinds, from the tea set to the pocket watch, including the first two issues ofHara-kiri or a Peugeot coffee grinder, also feed the list of more than 150 lots on display throughout the day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The charity sale associated by Delphine Bisman will take place live at hangar 107, but also on the website Bidding. A cocktail and a concert by DJ Toukadime will close the event.
