Porto Genova: 53 new hires in the next 3 years – Liguria

One million to Culmv for covid 2020 losses

The Port System Authority of Genoa, Savona and Vado Ligure has approved the updating of the organic plant with 53 hires in the next three years. An increase in staff that will serve to manage the 2.3 billion extraordinary program of interventions which also includes the new breakwater. The 53 new hires will be mainly technical figures, who will reinforce the staff of Palazzo San Giorgio which today totals 280 people, precisely to support the burden of work. The go-ahead came today from the Management Committee, but the update must also have the ministry’s ok.

One million to the Compagnia Unica, to compensate for the fewer days worked in 2020 compared to 2019, due to Covid. The decision was made by the Management Committee of the Port System Authority of the Western Ligurian Sea, acknowledging the amendment to the Infrastructure Decree which was added to the compensation already received by Culmv which had left 10,000 of the 50,000 days lost uncovered. The million “to be set aside for specific provisions for risks as a guarantee of capital balance” will therefore cover the days in the period from September to December 2020.
